We recommend that local anaesthetic cream is used on the skin for 90 minutes prior to the treatment: EMLA cream or Dr Numb are two examples. These are covered with cling film.
The treatment is uncomfortable, and ice is used on the skin to reduce pain. Small tattoos can be treated in minutes, large ones may take up to an hour.

After treatment the tattoo is covered with a dressing using Bepanthen or betadine ointment and gauze or cling film.
We recommend at least 6 weeks between treatments as longer intervals allow more fade.
