Is there any downtime?

Downtime can range from three to five days for a less aggressive treatment or seven to ten days for a more aggressive treatment. Your skin may look a bit pink and flaky as the pigment changes over two weeks.

How long will it take to see results?

Fraxel results are both immediate and progressive. It’s possible to see an improvement in the area within a few days of treatment as the skin starts to heal. Over the next two to three months you will continue to see improvements as the collagen regenerates during this time.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects include some swelling and redness, subsiding after a few days. Temporary side effects can include minor itching, dry skin, peeling and a bit of flaking.
